Waipori Border Collie stud

Show and Working Border Collies

History Of Our Kennels

Waipori kennels came into being in 1983, through Gloria and John Whyte (Crestvale Kennels Victoria Australia).

We started showing Borders bred by the Whytes and when our first Border collie came to us via Mrs Helen Ball  Tulsa (Crestvale Jade Prince) we had a few minor successes.Tulsa was followed by Crestvale Endeavour - Mandy- in 1985

In 1987 I returned home to NZ bringing with me  Tulsa and Mandy followed a few months later after Maternal duties with John and Gloria.

Over the years we have shown in the South Island of New Zealand, Where Tulsa was made up as NZ Champion.

In the later part of 2006, we re established in Oamaru and Rhostir Rosie was added to the Kennel. Rosie is ISDS linage and at 6 years of age we are hoping to start our first Working trials line.

This brings our present stud stock
